Ten years is a long time, and yet it flies by. Just ten years ago, in 2016, he joined our parishes as a parish vicar and administrator of Kašperské Hory and the surrounding parishes, Father Jenda Kulhánek.
This year, in mid‑July, we said goodbye to Father Jenda. He now serves elsewhere. Our farewell was sad; over ten years we grew close, but his move will change that.
Father Jenda served as a priest and loved manual work. As an electrician by trade, he repaired wiring in the Sušice rectory and several churches, adding features like remote control of bells, lights, or gates via phone.
We will miss him. To express our feelings, I add a poem I wrote for his farewell:
